The Colours of Culture 2025 Exhibition
What did they do when I wasn’t around?
Did they hold hands, laugh softly or watch their favorite shows?
Did they tell one another they were in love? And if they did, did they mean it?
I guess it’s best that I do not know
There then lives the possibility that in some way, at some time
They cared for each other in a way that is sacred, in a way that two people should when they start a family
It helps me to believe that I am a child born of love

Once a young girl who struggled to find her voice, Manisha Singh is a heart-driven creator and firm believer in the power of words to change the world. She discovered poetry at the age of 14 when her parents divorced, turning pain into art and igniting a lifelong passion for storytelling. Manisha's journey has led to a successful media career, with contributions to Forbes, USA Today, and other renowned publications. She is the author of two children's books and is currently working on her debut poetry collection. Through every story she tells, Manisha seeks to inspire connection and celebrate the power of diverse voices.
